More than 50% of the world's power demand is believed to be for motors. Replacing motors, which are used in so many different products, with Nidec Corporation's highly energy-efficient motors will reduce motors' power consumption, and contribute to reducing environmental burden. We will continue to develop products that are even more energy efficient than our current products.
Brushless motors, structured to generate little abrasion and achieve long longevity, extend the longevity of final products where our motors are installed as key components, and contribute to saving natural resources.
We use fewer components to produce our motors and reduce their weight while maintaining their performance levels to reduce the size of the motors and cost.
Also, we develop environmentally friendly products by totally abolishing the use of, and safely disposing of, lead, hexavalent chromium and other hazardous substances contained in motor components, and by recycling components. |
| Motors, which are important components for drive products, also generate noise when the products are in operation. Nidec's motors are excellent in operating quietly and generating low noise, and they help the products to operate comfortably for their users. |
