Barron's Ranks Nagamori among the World's Best CEOs
Barron's, a sister of the Wall Street Journal and among the most widely-read weekly financial paper in the US, announced on March 27 that it had selected Shigenobu Nagamori, CEO & Representative Director of Nidec, as one of the world's top thirty corporate leaders.
"The World's Best CEOs" is an annual feature program of Barron's launched last year. Of the thirty CEOs listed in its March 27 issue, ten are from non-U.S. companies, among whom is Nidec CEO Nagamori, the only Japanese entry this year.
Other non-U.S. entries include Mr. Carlos Ghosn of Renault, Mr. Lakshimi Mittal of Mittal Steel, Mr. Allan Moss of Macquarie, Mr. Jong-Yong Yun of Samsung Electronics.
In the March 27 issue, Barron's describes Nagamori as "one of Japan's most shareholder-oriented CEOs heading Nidec, a firm that makes brushless motors that power hard drives in iPods and other products." |
