Nidec Group Makes a Debut at IAA
 Display Booth for NMA and Nidec Electronics(Hall 6.1., booth A18)
International Motor Show-Frankfurt (IAA 2007) is the world's most comprehensive venue for the whole automobile industry, providing an international platform for all those who develop, manufacture or use passenger cars. This year, among the Show's exhibitors were Nidec Motors & Actuators (NMA), formerly the Motors & Actuators Division of Valeo S.A. (France), and Nidec Electronics, Nidec's Germany-based sales branch.
NMA, currently operating under the name Nidec-Valeo, has long been a recognized supplier to the automotive industry as part of a well-known Tier 1 company, Valeo S.A., France. NMA's primary objective at the Show was to present its new, stronger identity in a manner that raises the overall brand awareness of the Nidec Group within the automotive world, with a message: "We supply a full spectrum of motors for all your automotive applications".
NMA had the pleasure of being located in close proximity to a number of major Tier 1 suppliers, such as Denso, Aisin, Alpine, Jtekt, Akebono, etc, enjoying the singular opportunity to present its motor offering to both existing and future customers.
Nidec booth had 5 displays from NMA and one from Nidec Electronics as follows:
- Airflow (engine cooling motors, seat cooling fans and hybrid battery cooling system)
- Automotive Seat Adjusters (motors for different seat adjustment functions: recliner, height, tilt)
- Custom Actuators (motors for electric torque management, automated manual transmission, steering column adjusters)
- Automotive Closures (motors for sunroof, window-lift and powered hatch/tailgate)
- Steering (EPAS and HEPS motors)
- Braking (Several ABS motors)
